The following results are from a recent WWE NXT television taping. The taping took place on June 23rd, 2017 at the Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida and will air over the next several weeks at 8pm Eastern on the WWE Network.

Note: The tapings were taped out of order as WWE announced previously that the Last Woman Standing Match is scheduled to air on June 28th, while the WWE NXT Championship match between Bobby Roode and Roderick Strong was promoted to air on July 5th.

Off-Air Segment
Mike Rome came out to open the show and introduced Percy Watson and Nigel McGuinness. Triple H’s music hit and he came out to a huge reaction and said that he got on a flight to be here with us, because there is no place that he would rather be than home and said that We Are NXT and now, there is someone else that is going to say We Are NXT and call it home. Triple H introduced Mauro as the “Bipolar Rock n Roller”. Mauro got a great reaction from the crowd before making his way to the commentary table.


WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament Qualifying Match
Bianca BelAir defeated Aliyah.

Singles Match
The Velveteen Dream defeated HoHo Lun.

Singles Match
Hideo Itami vs. Oney Lorcan was declared a no contest after Itami was busted open immediately during the match and appeared to suffer a broken nose. The ring mat was immediately changed once both men left the ring.

WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament Qualifying Match
Vanessa Borne defeated Jayme Hachey. Borne is the former Performance Center talent Danielle Kamela.

In Ring Segment
A video package aired on Tomasso Ciampa’s attack on Johnny Gargano at NXT Takeover: Chicago. Johnny Gargano came to the ring and said that he missed being able to come out and do all of this for the fans and that when he heard his music, he used to get excited for something special, but then, what happened at NXT Takeover: Chicago happened and he never saw it coming and would have taken a bullet for Ciampa, but instead, Ciampa put a bullet in him. Gargano said that he is not here to dwell on the past and that he is here to move forward and he is still standing. Gargano said that he needs to get back to performing and said that he has to be on the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn card no matter what.

In Ring Segment
Hideo Itami came back out to the ring and called out Oney Lorcan for what appears to be a re-tape of the earlier match that was planned. The injury to Itami from earlier was essentially played off. Itami attempted to be the better man during all of this when Lorcan’s knee was hurting, however Lorcan declined, which led to Itami hitting Lorcan with a GTS and pinning him.

Singles Match
Hideo Itami defeated Oney Lorcan. Post-match, Hideo Itami called out Kassius Ohno who came to the ring, however before anything happened, SAnitY came out and attacked both men. SAnitY said that they are here to end forced friendships and lies and that they will do it through chaos.


Singles Match
No Way Jose defeated Cezar Bononi. Post-match, Andrade “Cien” Almas came out with Thea Trinidad. Almas attacked Cezar Bononi, however No Way Jose made the save.

Singles Match
Ember Moon defeated Ruby Riot.

Tag Team Match
SAnity (Alexander Wolfe & Killian Dain) defeated Hideo Itami & Kassius Ohno.

Singles Match
Oney Lorcan defeated Danny Burch.

WWE NXT Championship Match
Bobby Roode (c) defeated Roderick Strong.

Aleister Black defeated Bobby Fish.

WWE NXT Tag Team Championships Match
The Authors Of Pain (Rezar & Akam) (w/Paul Ellering) (c) defeated Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight & Otis Dozovic). Post-match, SAnitY came out to confront The Authors Of Pain.
