The following results are from a recent WWE SmackDown TV Taping. The taping took place at the KeyArena on February 28th, 2012 in Seattle, Washington and will air on March 2nd, 2012 at 8pm Eastern on the SyFy Network.

In Ring Segment
Sheamus came out to open the show and talked about Daniel Bryan saying that Bryan was a conceited champion, however Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero came out to the ring. Ziggler got on the mic and said that while Sheamus may have won the Royal Rumble, he is the one that deserves to be main eventing WrestleMania this year. Teddy Long comes out and says that we can get a preview of that right now, as that match is next.

Singles Match
Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler.

Backstage Segment
John Laurinatis comes into Teddy Long’s office and demands that Teddy Long issues an apology after Long pushed him down on Monday’s RAW, however Long says that they will be switching brands next week as ordered by the WWE Board of Directors and while he’s still in control, it’s going to be Mark Henry vs. The Big Show later tonight.

Santino Marella defeated Heath Slater.

Eve Torres defeated Natalya.

In Ring Segment
Cody Rhodes came out to the ring and cut a promo on The Big Show and commented on how The Big Show’s WrestleMania XXVIII record is terrible, which brought out The Big Show, however Cody ran through the crowd. Big Show attempted to get Cody to come in the ring, however he wouldn’t and then proceeded to chase Cody, only to be stopped by Teddy Long. Long announced that Cody Rhodes will defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania XXVIII against The Big Show. Following the announcement, Mark Henry made his way out to the ring for his match.

Singles Match
The Big Show defeated Mark Henry. Following this match, we cut back to Teddy Long who states that he has made The Big Show vs. David Otunga official for Monday’s RAW and then proceeds to talk with Drew McIntyre and tells him that he needs to start getting wins tonight, otherwise he has no other option but to fire him.

Singles Match
Justin Gabriel defeated Drew McIntyre. Following the match, Teddy Long appeared on the TitanTron and announced that Drew McIntyre had been fired from the WWE SmackDown brand.

In Ring Segment
Daniel Bryan came out to the ring with AJ and stated that he is from Aberdeen, Washington not too far from Seattle, however he decided that he needed to move to Las Vegas as soon as he could to get out of the state and continued on until Randy Orton came out for the main event.

Singles Match
Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton was declared a no contest. Orton began to build momentum in the match, however Bryan managed to escape and left the ring. Orton ran after Bryan however Kane’s pyro went off and he began fighting with Orton. Kane chokeslammed Orton, got on the mic and said “Welcome Back” to Orton to close out the show, potentially building to a WrestleMania XXVIII match between the two.
