The following results are from a recent WWE SmackDown TV Taping. The taping took place on June 02, 2015 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will air on June 04th, 2015 at 8pm Eastern on the SyFy Network.
Opening Segment
Above the ring we see the Money In The Bank Briefcase, out first is non-other than the Champion himself Seth Rollins.
Rollins mentions how “The Shield” broke up a year ago and is eventually cut off by his opponent at the upcoming MITB event Dean Ambrose.
Ambrose does not come out to the ring, he cuts him off on the big screen and cuts a promo about their match at the event.
What was notable about this segment is that Rollins did not have any members of the Authority with him, not even his security team.
Triple Threat Tag Team Match
The Prime Time Players defeated The Ascension and The Lucha Dragons.
Backstage Segment
The New Day are shown backstage cutting a promo and reacting to the Prime Time Players win over the Ascension and the Luchan Dragons, when the “Director of Operations” Kane interrupts the trio and notifies them that Kofi Kingston will be facing Adrian Neville in a singles match later that evening.
Non-Title IC Championship Match
Ryback (c) defeated Stardust.
In-Ring Segment
WWE Announcer Renee Young interviews Paige, she reacts to her lost on Monday Night Raw against Divas Champion Nikki Bell and informs the world that the “Twins Magic” is about to end.
Backstage Segment
Erick Rowan and Luke Harper cut a promo to reassure the audience that they are indeed family.
NXT Title Open Challenge
Kevin Owens (c) defeated Zack Ryder.
Backstage Segment
Young interviews “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus and ask him about his match at Money In The Bank.
Singles Match
Neville defeated Kofi Kingston.
In-Ring Segment: Miz TV
The Miz welcomes Lana to her new entrance video, Miz proceeds to interview Lana where they are then interrupted by her ex-boyfriend Rusev, after some words Dolph Ziggler comes out to swoop Lana away to end the segment.
Main Event: Singles Match
Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns goes to a no contest.
During the match Kane comes out with J&J Security and attack both men, then Kane grabs the microphone and announces he will be apart of this years Money In The Bank Match, he then ChokeSlams Roman Reigns after giving him a big boot prior.
Rollins then hits the ring and joins The Authority to beat down Reigns, shortly therafter Dean Ambrose hits the ring to save Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose struggle for the WWE World Heavywieght Title, but out of no where Reigns hits a Superman Punch then Ambrose follows up with Dirty Deeds on Rollins to end the show.
