Ring Of Honor Wrestling announced during last night’s ROH Best in the World 2021 pay-per-view that Matt Taven will face off against Vincent in a Steel Cage Match as part of the ROH Glory By Honor 2021 Night 2 event on Saturday, August 21st.

Taven, during the segment, requested a match against Vincent, stating that if Vincent signed the contract, then irregardless of the match outcome, he would leave Ring of Honor Wrestling, however Vincent had a different idea, agreeing to the match if Taven would put his ROH World Championship opportunity on the line, with Taven wanting guarantees from Vincent that there would not be any interference from The Righteous in order of him to agree to the match.
