All Elite Wrestling star Swerve Strickland took part in the post-AEW WrestleDream media scrum and discussed several topics, including his return at the pay-per-view, his future plans and more.
Swerve was asked if Shelton Benjamin is a potential future opponent given what went down on the pay-per-view, and stated that he would need to see how the next few weeks play out.
Swerve was then asked about how working for DEFY Wrestling helped to shape his career. Swerve said that it was huge, and put over people like Nick Wayne, Brody King and Darby Allin becoming stars through the work that they done in DEFY, and how other companies like PROGRESS Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling ended up working with DEFY as a result, and said that working with the company helped him learn how to become a star.
Swerve was asked if his feud with “Hangman” Adam Page has come to an end and stated that while things may be largely finished, there might be a small piece inside of him that isn’t finished with “Hangman” Adam Page and said that Page can have his unsanctioned victory, as he’ll take the two ones that were sanctioned.
