WWE announced today that WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston will defend his title at this Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view against Curtis Axel. WWE Survivor Series takes place on Sunday, November 24th, 2013 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

WWE announced today that Kofi Kingston will take on Damien Sandow on tonight’s WWE Hell in a Cell pre-show as a replacement for the Curtis Axel vs. Big E Langston match that the company pulled from the show due to Axel’s injury. As of writing, details on Axel’s injury are unknown.

WWE confirmed over the weekend that Josh Mathews, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn will be the panel for tonight’s WWE Hell in a Cell pre-show. The pre-show will feature a WWE Intercontinental Championship match as Curtis Axel defends against Big E Langston.

WWE sent out the following: With Ryback by his side, Paul Heyman braves entry into Hell in a Cell to battle his “prodigal son,” CM Punk, in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match.

It was announced during Monday’s WWE RAW that Curtis Axel will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Big E. Langston in the WWE Hell in a Cell Kickoff prior to the pay-per-view at 7:30 PM EDT this Sunday.
