Sami Callihan, who has been heavily reported to be joining the WWE developmental system, is officially finished with Dragon Gate USA. There has been talk that another Dragon Gate USA regular, believed to be Samuray del Sol, could also be on his way to the WWE, however that isn’t 100% confirmed.

The word coming out of this weekend’s Dragon Gate USA events is that former TNA Wrestling superstar Anthony Nese has signed a deal with the company. Nese will be pushed as “The Premier Athlete” Anthony Nese going forward, while Mr. A will continue his role as Nese’s bodyguard.

Dragon Gate USA announced today that John Morrison will face off against Akira Tozawa on their January 25th event in Santa Ana, California, which is being co-promoted alongside Vendetta Pro Wrestling. Tozawa will be working the full tour on January 26th & January 27th in Huntington Park, California.

Wrestling-News.net can confirm that former WWE superstars John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin will be returning to the company beginning with the 2013 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
