WWE announced in their five-point-preview hyping tonight’s edition of WWE RAW that Chris Jericho will host “The Highlight Reel”. Jericho’s guests for the segment will be Lana and WWE United States Champion Rusev.

There has been speculation amongst some within the WWE, as well as fans as to whether the WWE will be bringing back the WWE European Championship that was retired back in 2002. Rusev defeated Sheamus in a match that aired after WWE RAW exclusively on the WWE Network to become the new WWE United States Champion.

WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee versus Nikki Bella and WWE United States Champion Sheamus versus Rusev are currently planned to take place at next month’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view. As of writing, the only match confirmed for the event is Team Cena vs. Team Authority in a traditional Survivor Series match.

Madison Square Garden’s official website are listing the following matches for WWE’s return to the venue on December 26th, 2014. – John Cena vs. Seth Rollins – Randy Orton vs. The Big Show – WWE United States Champion Sheamus vs. Rusev (w/Lana).

WWE announced on tonight’s edition of WWE RAW that there will be an exclusive interview with Roman Reigns on next week’s edition of the show in Brooklyn, New York. Also scheduled for the show is The Big Show vs. Rusev.

WWE have announced that there will be an International Arm Wrestling Contest between Mark Henry and Rusev on this Friday’s edition of WWE SmackDown. The show tapes tonight in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

WWE released the following footage from last night’s WWE RAW Fallout, featuring Rusev and Lana meeting up backstage with WWE Hall of Famer Nikolai Volkoff.

WWE confirmed on last night’s WWE SmackDown that Jack Swagger will face Rusev in a Flag Match at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view on August 17th.
