Former WWE Champion Rob van Dam is expected to be taking another break from the WWE after this Sunday’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view, according to a report from PWInsider.com. The expectation is that RVD will be back in time for the build to the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

In an update on Rob van Dam missing last night’s WWE BattleGround pay-per-view, a report from PWInsider.com notes that RVD was pulled from the WWE Intercontinental Championship Battle Royal due to injury, however as of writing, it is unknown what type of injury RVD has and how long he will be out of action for.
