WWE Monday Night RAW superstar, The Miz, is featured in an interview with the Fayetteville Observer, to help promote the WWE Tribute to the Troops tapings later tonight, which air on Tuesday on NBC, discussing WWE putting on the show every year and how the company pays respect to the armed forces.

The Miz notes that Tribute to the Troops is the most patriotic show of the year and that the company pays tribute to all the soldiers who protect and serve the United States and that the company has a ton of superstars, divas and celebrities coming in and meeting and entertaining the armed forces is the least that they can do and it is something that he really looks forward to every year.

The Miz noted that the company have gone overseas various times to Iraq and Afghanistan to visit the armed forces and it is unbelievable to think what they go through as most of them are kids in the 18-21 age bracket and they’re facing danger without a second thought in their mind. Miz told the story of a guy he met aged just 19 telling the WWE superstar how his vehicle hit a land mine and was destroyed, with The Miz noting that it came across like it was an everyday occurence and nothing major happened, noting that all the guys out there are heroes.
