In a recent interview with Barstool Sports, WWE legend The Undertaker revealed that WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon did not like the original ending of his The Last Ride documentary series, which led to a slight modification to keep the door open for a return down the line.

The Undertaker stated that the series ended in a way that the door was officially shut on a return and that he would be retired for good, but that he had to send the final 15 minutes of the show to Vince McMahon for approval, which is when Vince objected, stating that he did not like the ending at all and that is when they put the line of ‘never say never, I’m coming to grips with it’ in there.

The Undertaker said that while he still loves the wrestling business and would love to compete, he does not move the way that he used to move and feels that he is just a watered down version of himself, but that the line at the end of the documentary series will keep the door slightly ajar in the event that he wants to put his hat and jacket back on, noting that as it starts to get closer to WrestleMania, he gets that internal feeling like he should be getting ready for something.
