In a recent interview with The Swerve City Podcast, The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) discussed several topics, including their decision to re-sign with All Elite Wrestling, noting that they weren’t sure of where they would go, or what they would do next, but that when The Elite made the decision to re-sign, they all negotiated together as a group.

Speaking on the decision, Matt Jackson stated, “We didn’t know, I don’t read any of it, but I know people are thinking oh, how surprising, The Elite re-signed, bro we didn’t even know if we were going to re-sign, we all negotiated together as a team, the votes did not line up every time, there were a lot of emotions in the last year, as the world knows, so one day this person’s voting to leave, this person’s voting to go, we weren’t even on the same page the whole time.”

Nick Jackson revealed that one stage, Matt Jackson even considered retirement rather than continuing to wrestle for another promotion, noting that he had to talk him out of that one, while the duo noted that as wrestling starts to get hot again, the industry could see NBA-level deals if it continues to gain momentum.
