New Japan Pro Wrestling sent out the following:

Three STRONG titles on the line at Fighting Spirit Unleashed!

Whoever the champions may be, all STRONG titles on the line October 28

October 28 will see NJPW return to Las Vegas, as Fighting Spirit Unleashed hits Sam’s Town Live. After the night’s first matches were announced last week, the card is sure to grow from here with the announcement that all three NJPW STRONG Championships will be defended regardless of who their holders may be come October.

Eddie Kingston is the current NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion, having defeated KENTA for the title back at Independence Day in Korakuen Hall. His last defence came on August 30 on AEW Dynamite at the expense of Wheeler Yuta- now he has high stakes in front of him in his own back yard. On September 20 at AEW’s Dynamite Grand Slam in New York, Kingston has put the STRONG belt on the line in a title for title match with ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli- could the Mad King walk into Vegas with double gold on October 28, or might we see Claudio representing BCC at Fighting Spirit Unleashed?

One of the earliest declarations of power from the BULLET CLUB War Dogs came on July 4 in Korakuen when Alex Coughlin and Gabe Kidd defeated Bishamon in wild and violent form to lift the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships. On October 9, the champions will defend those titles against Hikuleo and El Phantasmo of the Guerrillas of Destiny; whoever walks out of Ryogoku with the gold will have more work to do at short notice in Vegas.

STRONG Women’s Champion Giulia has kept up a busy schedule at home and abroad since she took the title from inaugural champion Willow Nightingale this past May. With defences against Yuu and Risa Sera in Japan, and in a four way bout at Multiverse United 2, Giulia is steadily building an impressive champion’s resume. If she still holds her title come October 28, who will be able to step up against the ‘beautiful insanity’ of the champ?
