In a post on her official Twitter account, independent wrestler Thunder Rosa (aka Kobra Moon on Lucha Underground) commented on the news that she was granted her release from her contract with Lucha Underground in response to the lawsuit that was filed by several talents against Lucha Underground’s production company.

The statement reads, “Yesterday it as announced that me and other of my peers were granted their release from Lucha Underground. I can not stress how thankful I am to the production, staff, writers and everyone else involved with the show. They always showed me so much love and allowed me to grow as a wrestler and as a character. I love Kobra Moon and this character will always be very special to me, because it was so challenging and beautiful at the same time. I was so nenw to the business and so hungry for something like this. My experience working here was unmeasured, I worked with the best of the best and I learned so much from it. Like I said for years, Lucha became a family and I endured many wonderful moments that helped me grow as a character, wrestler and human being. Thanks for believing in me and I will be forever grateful for the platform given to me. Gracias por el apoyo, el amor y el carino de todos Los fans, amigos y la LUCHA family. Just like Kobra Moon granted wishes on the show, she granted mine. Until the next adventure….”
