Results from the Against All Odds Pay-Per-View

#1 Contender’s Match for X-Division Championship
Sorensen gave an impressive showing for this match against Ion. Both competitors pulled out the stops for the chance to wrestle for the X Division Title. Early on Sorensen pulled an intense looking Hurricanrana on Ion. However, after a brutal high risk move from the top rope from Ion, he took out Sorensen with a knee to the head prompting medical personnel to rush to the scene. This made Zema Ion the winner of the match by count out and the new number one contender for the X Division Title.

World Television Championship
Robbie E made an impromptu appearance creating a special Robbie E Invitational open challenge to get a shot at the Television Championship. After some waiting Shannon Moore came out to take on the TV Champion. After some back and forth Robbie E attempted to leave to get the count out but Shannon Moore wouldn’t let that happen. Robbie E managed to maintain control of the match and after throwingMoore into the guardrail the Jersey side of Robbie E came out to do everything he can to breakdown Moore and retain the championship. Moore managed to get back into the match with some impressive high risk moves, however with some outside help from Robbie T in the form of a massive punch that wasn’t seen by the ref, Robbie E was able to get the pin and retain the TV Title.

Knockouts Championship
Gail came into this match with her tag team partner Madison Rayne at ringside who as usual made sure the entire arena knew she was there. Gail Kim managed to dominate throughout the entire first part of the match all while arguing with her tag partner throughout, however part of the way through Rayne had enough and left. Tara managed to finally get ahead in the match and almost picked up the pin after a top rope moonsault that seemed to further damage her injured knee. Gail Kim took advantage of this and worked on Tara’s injured knee, which led to her picking up the pinfall to retain the Knockouts Championship

Tag Team Championship
This championship match started strong with Joe and Morgan and setting the pace for the rest of the match. Morgan and Crimson maintained dominance of the first part of the match but after some outside interference, Joe and Magnus managed to pull things in their favor. Joe and Magnus seemed to dictate the speed of the match making frequent tags and keeping things going. Morgan managed to turn things from the favor of the challengers’, however after an accidental spear from Crimson on his own partner Joe and Magnus came out victorious with a combo that allowed Magnus to get the pin on Morgan to become new World Tag Team Champions.

X-Division Championship
Austin Aries started things off with a little bit of showboating, which ended up being a bad idea as Shelley took advantage of Aries being and capitalized by wearing down Austin Aries. However it was short lived as Shelley momentarily lost track of his opponent, which led to Aries taking out Shelly from behind. After some brutal back and forth it seemed that Shelley had the championship within his grasp however due to Aries’ amazing ring awareness he was able to grab the rope to stop the count. Following what was a very exciting match, with many near pinfalls that prompted the crowd to chant “this is awesome!” on numerous occasions, Aries picked up the win via a submission using his “last chancery” submission move.

Challenge Match
The start of this match seemed to release a lot of frustration from AJ Styles who ripped off the Christopher Daniels T shirt Kazarian was wearing (available at ShopTNA.com). Styles’ maintained dominance for the most part throughout the first part of the match while also keeping an eye on Daniels. Christopher Daniels continued his control of Kazarian at ringside. Kazarian managed to gain the upper hand in the match and gradually tear down Styles while getting guidance from Daniels, who was prompting him to tear down Styles. The match went on with the two competitors tearing each other down little by little. What seemed to be a springboard to finish taking out Kazarian, Styles instead goes back and takes out Danials with an incredible moonsault off the top rope onto Daniels outside of the ring. However, this was to Styles’ own detriment as Kazarian was able to pull himself together and take out Styles for the pinfall to get the win.

Gunner with Eric Bischoff vs. Garett Bischoff with Hulk Hogan
After Gunner starts out toying with Garett, Garett retaliated with a vengeance pulling out some quick moves that put Gunner back on his feet. With a cheap shot from Eric Bischoff on his own son, Hogan got involved and took out Eric Bischoff. After witnessing Gunner relentlessly beat on Garett, Hogan almost threw in the towel for Garett but was stopped by Garett. Though he is a rookie in this game Garett put forth a strong showing, however dispite his efforts Gunner was able to workover Garett and pick up the pinfall after a DDT.

World Heavyweight Championship
With Sting as the special enforcer, The Heavyweight Title match started with Ray leaving the ring and looking onward to wait for what one would assume to be an opportunity to take advantage of. Meanwhile the other three competitors are tearing each other down in the ring with Hardy and Storm working together to tear down Roode when they can. Finally, Ray saw the opportunity to take out Hardy and Storm with a clothesline but was not able to translate it into a pinfall on Roode. After Storm and Roode being taken out Ray went to work on Hardy. Finally Roode and Storm made it back into the match where these two regained the advantage through working together, but with their back on Ray he was able to take all three out, though he could not get a pin out of it. After a couple instances of the Referee missing what would have turned out to be obvious pins because he was injured, the ref finally came too and Storm almost became World Champ but was cut short by Ray pulling out the ref. In the end after Roode attempted to take out Hardy with the belt, Sting stoped him but Roode spit in his face causing Sting to take a swing at Roode but instead hitting Hardy. Roode goes for the pin on Hardy, which must be enforced by Sting due to the Ref being taken out, and as a result Roode gets the three count on Hardy to retain the World Heavyweight Title.
