The following results are from a recent TNA Wrestling pay-per-view event. TNA Slammiversary took place on June 15, 2014 at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas and aired live at 8pm Eastern on pay-per-view.

Backstage Segment
The show opened with MVP, Bobby Lashley and Kenny King in the back talking about MVP’s injury. Kenny King said that MVP should simply put him and Lashley in the World Title match later in the evening, however MVP said that he has to do things this way to get TNA’s Board of Directors off his back.

Ladder Match For The TNA X-Division Championship
Sanada (c) defeated Tigre Uno, Manik, Crazzy Steve, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards to retain the title. Post-match, MVP’s music played and he made his way to the stage with Kenny King and Bobby Lashley and said that he’s supposed to be in the hospital because of his knee issues and yet, while he’s here, the fans continue to boo him. MVP said that people spent their hard earned money to come see him win the World Title and would be disappointed if that didn’t happen. MVP said that because Dixie Carter went to TNA’s Board of Directors and complained about everything he’s been doing, he’s been censored and has to provide a fair World Title match later in the evening. MVP said that Austin Aries will take on Kenny King and Samoa Joe will take on Bobby Lashley with the winners advancing to face Eric Young later in the evening in the World Title match and said that he won’t be involved in either of the matches.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Contender’s Match
Bobby Lashley defeated Samoa Joe to advance to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship match later in the eveing. Post-match, Jeremy Borash interviewed Dixie Carter in a skybox in the arena. Dixie said that Bully Ray will see Ethan Carter III’s vicious side later in the evening.

Singles Match
Magnus (w/Bram) defeated Willow (w/Abyss).

In Ring Segment
Kurt Angle came out to the ring and said that he’s here to announce the newest entrant into the TNA Hall of Fame and said that he should rephrase that and said entrants and announced that Team 3D are the newest names to be inducted. Bully Ray and Devon made their way to the ring as fans chanted “Team 3D” and “We Want Tables” for what seemed like an eternity. Bully Ray got on the mic and said that it was the best “We Want Tables” chant that he’s heard in a long while and tells Devon that he can’t describe how great it feels to be standing in the ring with him again and then hugged Devon. Bully says that he and Devon accept the Hall of Fame induction and do so for one reason and one reason only, because of all of the fans that are responsible for taking and making Team 3D the most successful tag team in the history of professional wrestling. Devon got on the mic and said that last August, when he left the company, he vowed never to return because he thought he was through and said that his mind changed when he got the phone call about the TNA Hall of Fame. Devon said that he and bully went up and down the highway together creating history and if Team 3D are going to go out, then the best way for them to go out is to do it in a blaze of glory in the TNA Hall of Fame.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Contender’s Match
Austin Aries defeated Kenny King to advance to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship match later in the evening.

Tag Team Match
The Von Erichs (Marshall von Erich & Ross Von Erich) defeated The BroMans (Jessie Godderz & DJ Z) via DQ. Post-match, The BroMans attempted to beat down The Von Erichs, however Kevin von Erich got involved and attacked both men.

TNA Knockouts Championship Match
Angelina Love (w/Velvet Sky) (c) defeated Gail Kim.

Texas Death Match
Ethan Carter III (w/Rockstar Spud & Dixie Carter) defeated Bully Ray.

Singles Match
Mr. Anderson defeated James Storm.

Steel Cage Match For The TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Eric Young (c) defefeated Austin Aries and Bobby Lashley.
