TNA Wrestling’s lawsuit against Scott Steiner has been officially dismissed according to a report from PWInsider.com who note that the Judge in the case dismissed the lawsuit “with prejudice” on February 22nd in Nashville, Tennessee, meaning that TNA Wrestling can not re-file the case down the line.

For those wondering, the lawsuit was initially filed by TNA back in June 2012 after TNA Wrestling claimed that Scott Steiner breached his TNA contract, which had expired at that point, by making public comments against the company, Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan and Bruce Pritchard and sought damages as well as an injunction against further disparagement.

Steiner denied that he ever agreed not to disparage the company or that trashing the company would breach his deal and said that he was not involved in a concerted effort to disparage TNA Wrestling or its officials and that he had ignored requests to stop, stating that he was offered a new contract by the company and chose to reject it and never executed the deal.
