All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan took part in the post-AEW Double or Nothing media scrum and discussed his thoughts on the pay-per-view, future plans for the company, the surprise appearances of Lio Rush and Mark Henry on the event and much more.

Khan said that the mood of the evening was indescribable and that the event was the second most emotional show that they have done to date, behind the Brodie Lee tribute show and wishes that Brodie could have experienced a full AEW crowd.

Khan said that he will be considering developing content for the child/teenager market, while in regards to the development of Orange Cassidy, he is proud as he pitched the idea of Orange Cassidy vs. PAC at last year’s AEW Revolution event and is happy to see how far he has come. Khan said that Jungle Boy winning the Casino Battle Royal was a highlight of the whole event and that he wants him in the AEW World Championship picture as soon as possible, because he can see that he will be a World Championship player for years to come.

Khan said that he was glad that they were able to get Lio Rush to appear at the event and noted that they wanted him to appear last year, however he was busy filming content for The Challenge on MTV and that currently, they are working on a handshake agreement and that Lio Rush will be able to continue working with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Khan said that in regards to Don Callis, he is currently a package deal with Kenny Omega and will likely be a part of their shows for years to come. Khan put over Sting and said that he was impressed with how Sting exceeded expectation in the ring after being out of it for some time.

Khan said that AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation will be reformatted and that there will be times that the show is filmed in bulk with AEW Rampage and AEW Dynamite, but that sometimes, AEW Rampage will be live. Khan said that the addition of Mark Henry is a big part of the presentation of AEW Rampage and that there will also be another commentator, who is someone that is an active competitor in the company. Khan said that the incident with Willie Urbina was unacceptable and that there was no excuse for it, while he personally apologized to Hikaru Shida for what had occurred.
