All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan took part in the post-AEW Revolution media scrum on Sunday night and discussed several topics, including the show being a perfect night, Sting’s retirment, Kenny Omega’s injury and more.

Khan said that the event was a perfect night and that top to bottom, it was one of the best shows that AEW has ever done and said that the show was likely to be one of the best gates that they have ever had, but did not get into the specifics. Khan said that in regards to Sting, he is very giving and not political and never pushed to have an undefeated run, but that he felt very strongly about pushing him the way that he did.

Khan discussed the mix of Saturday night and Sunday night pay-per-view events, and said that they were based on the NFL’s schedule, stating that more shows were likely to take place on a Saturday due to the NFL games. Khan then discussed the status of the AEW World Tag Team Championships and said that they would now be vacated, with a tournament beginning this month to crown new Champions, while Darby Allin will face off against Jay White as part of AEW Dynamite: Big Business.

Khan said that while he is very optimistic on a Kenny Omega return to AEW, it would not be fair to create the expectation that Omega will be appearing at AEW’s upcoming events in Winnipeg. Khan then discussed AEW’s media rights deal and said that they are still under an exclusive agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery and that they are very proud of what they are doing with TBS and TNT, noting that WBD’s current management group have embraced them more than ever before.
