All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan took part in a pre-AEW All Out media call today and addressed the company’s safety precautions for talent and fans.

Khan said that what AEW can do right now is very similar to what was able to be done in the past with drive-in movies and that while he wishes that they could pack the house out for every event, they can’t do that just yet.

Khan said that when they found out about things with the crowds being permitted to return, his immediate plan was to keep both the wrestlers and the fans safe inside the venue and that testing was the first thing, noting that then they wanted to figure out how to utilize Daily’s Place to the best of their ability, as well as figuring out how they could utilize their staff and the upper bowl.

Khan said that what has happened this year has completely changed his relationship with wrestling, but that he is happy to be a part of it and says that it has been a surreal situation this year.
