In a media call to promote the ROH Supercard Of Honor 2023 event, All Elite Wrestling President and Ring Of Honor Wrestling owner Tony Khan revealed that New Japan Pro Wrestling star Will Ospreay was originally scheduled for the event prior to a shoulder injury resulting in him being pulled from recent NJPW events and all events he was scheduled for over WrestleMania weekend, including the IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United: Only The STRONG Survive.

As of writing, it is unknown as to whether Ospreay was scheduled to face Daniel Garcia or not, as Ring Of Honor announced this week that Garcia will face off against New Japan Pro Wrestling star Hiroshi Tanahashi as part of Supercard of Honor.

Tanahashi replaced Ospreay at the IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United: Only The STRONG Survive event, facing off against “Speedball” Mike Bailey.
