Former IMPACT Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion John Hennigan (aka Johnny Impact) finished up his current run with the company at last night’s Slammiversary pay-per-view, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

The report notes that Hennigan’s IMPACT Wrestling contract expired several weeks ago, but that the two sides agreed that he would work through the Slammiversary pay-per-view in order to close out his current storyline with Rich Swann.

While Hennigan is now free to negotiate and sign with any promotion, the two sides are still in talks about a potentially new deal.
