In an interview with ESPN SportsCenter, WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development, Triple H, discussed why the company made the decision this year to hold WrestleMania 36 over two nights, following the news that other events were put on hold due to the global Coronavirus pandemic.

Triple H said that WrestleMania is a mega event, and over the years the main card has gone from 3 to 4 to 5 plus hours and that this year, there is so much on the card and so many people wanted to participate as the world began to go through what it is going through and that there was too much excitement and content, including great matches and talent for it to be held in just one night. Triple H said that they are going to entertain people as best as they can, with it taking place from multiple locations and said that it’s going to be crazy, with Rob Gronkowski hosting, you can’t tell what will happen with him.

Triple H said that regarding the company’s plans for Rob Gronkowski, you can’t have plans for him, as he is one of those people who has plans for you and said that it is Gronk’s playground this year.
