In a post-fight press conference following his victory over Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium where he retained his WBC and The Ring Heavyweight Championships before later hinting at possible retirement, Tyson Fury teased that he could be appearing at WWE SummerSlam in Nashville, Tennessee this July, as well as WWE’s stadium event at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales this September.

“Don’t rule me out of fighting there, you might see me at SummerSlam, I’ve got to speak to Vince and the boys and maybe make this happen. I know that Drew McIntyre has been saying a lot of things about me and I’d love to knock him out, I’d love to be at Cardiff and I’d love to be back at center stage in the UK.”

Fury faced off against Braun Strowman at the WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia back in October 2019, with his last WWE appearance to date coming at the November 8th episode of WWE SmackDown in Manchester, England where he teamed with Strowman against The B-Team (Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel).
