In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, UFC Women’s Flyweight star Paige VanZant discussed why she would be open to following Ronda Rousey in switching from being part of the UFC to a potential WWE career.

“It’s just another platform for us UFC fighters to make a name for ourselves. I know Ronda is going to do awesome at it, and she’s going to make a name for herself in the WWE. I’m a fighter first and foremost, but if the opportunity ever came knocking, I’m not one to turn opportunities down. I think it’s an amazing organisation, and I’d definitely love to work with them.”

VanZant, who turns 24 years old this Monday, was originally reported to be close to working with the WWE back in 2016 at the SummerSlam pay-per-view, however plans at the time were scuppered, as VanZant was scheduled to fight at the UFC Vancouver event the following week.
