– In an update on Alberto del Rio’s injury status, an announcement is expected on tomorrow’s 3-hour edition of WWE RAW where he will be tested, as to whether he can compete or will be removed from next Sunday’s WWE No Way Out pay-per-view. Current plans have Dolph Ziggler potentially facing off against Sheamus at the event and while that may happen, the company are contemplating having either a Battle Royal or a Beat the Clock Challenge on SmackDown. WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and Triple H are worried that Del Rio’s injuries are beginning to make him a concern and he is starting to be compared to Mr. Kennedy who was injury prone for a while during his WWE career.

– For those that have asked, Christian’s apparance at tonight’s TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view event is part of the deal that was worked out between TNA Wrestling and the WWE that allowed WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair to attend the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony alongside The Four Horsemen. While Christian’s role at the event is not known as of writing, he will not be the one to answer Crimson’s Open Challenge on tonight’s pay-per-view and his appearance is a one-shot deal.

– Former Ohio Valley Wrestling superstar “The Real Deal” Marcus Anthony is now going under the name of Lincoln Brodrick in the WWE’s developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling, according to the programme for FCW’s Summer Slamarama Tour.

– WWE are hinting on their official website that Tensai may have some sort of involvement in the opening of Monday’s RAW where John Laurinaitis will impress Mr. McMahon who returns to the company to open the show. Their article notes, “The dominant Tensai suffered his first defeat last week against John Cena, but his interference during the Cena-Michael Cole match that followed shows the expatriate Superstar has no intention of letting the loss slow him down. Tensai has been a favorite of John Laurinaitis’, and “Big Johnny” will likely want Mr. McMahon to see his handpicked enforcer in action this week. The only question remains, who will he face?”
