With several Ring of Honor contracts expiring recently, seeing most stars sign 1-year extensions or long-term extensions with the company, the one name that came up amongst many professional wrestling fans was Davey Richards, who hasn’t been seen since the June 24th ROH: Best in the World pay-per-view event, when he was unsuccessful in an attempt to regain the ROH World Championship from Kevin Steen.

Richards is expected to remain with the company, with talk that he’s signed a new deal and will possibly return following the Boiling Point iPPV next month. Pro Wrestling NOAH out of Japan are looking to book both Richards (who is a huge star in Japan) and Eddie Edwards for their upcoming tour this September.
