In an update on the arrest of former WWE NXT superstar Dan Matha in Orlando, Florida yesterday, a report from Heel By Nature notes that 32-year-old Matha was charged with failure to appear in court following a traffic violation earlier this year where he was driving with an expired registration.
The report notes that the arrest record states that Matha was stopped twice for driving with a suspended license in 2019, while in February 2020, he was stopped and pleaded no contest, paying a fine of $722 for that infraction, however Matha’s license was suspended due to unpaid traffic fines. On April 4th, Matha was served a citation due to him driving with an expired registration and was due to appear in court on June 24th.
Matha did not appear in court on the above date, which led to a notice being sent to his home on July 1st, which he allegedly did not respond to, which led to a warrant for his arrest being issued on August 17th. Matha has since been released from the Orange County Jail, with a new court date scheduled for September 2nd.
