In a new update on Bill DeMott announcing that he was stepping down from his role as the WWE NXT head trainer yesterday, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had accepted that DeMott was a liability as an NXT coach and left the decision in Triple H’s hands.

Triple H was scheduled at the time to meet with DeMott at the NXT show on Thursday in Columbus, Ohio, the same show that DeMott worked as a producer. There were reports when the news was made available to NXT talents that it was likely that DeMott would be reassigned, however WWE’s public relations confirmed to the Washington Post that they had accepted DeMott’s resignation from the company, which would indicate that he is no longer employed by the WWE.
