In an update on Smashing Pumpkins frontman and former TNA Wrestling President Billy Corgan agreeing in principal to purchase the rights and assets of the National Wrestling Alliance, a report from PWInsider.com notes that this does not include the tape library and the NWA On Demand streaming service, which utilizes the Boesch family library from Houston, as Corgan is not purchasing any footage as part of his purchase.

The report notes that once Corgan and the National Wrestling Alliance finalize the sale and Corgan owns the assets, the plan is for Corgan to evaluate and assess the brand and build a plan for going forward and that Dave Lagan is 100% on board with the project and is working with Corgan, however it is unknown as to whether former TNA creative member Matt Conway is on board.

The report further states that in regards to the NWA members, there are no members anymore as under Bruce Tharpe, the organization was instead selling licenses for promoters to use the NWA initials and that those licenses will eventually expire, however all options are on the table as Corgan still decides his direction and strategy, while there has been no talk of talents on board with the Corgan/NWA project as of now.
