In an update on several fans questioning how former WWE superstar Damien Sandow was allowed to appear at a Maryland Championship Wrestling event over the weekend despite having a 90-day no compete clause, the reason for this is down to WWE’s own ruling.

The company will allow Sandow to work independent wrestling events, however Sandow is not permitted to appear on an event that is televised, on pay-per-view or internet pay-per-view until his no-compete clause officially expires in early August.
