In an update on the ongoing battle between IMPACT Wrestling and The Broken Hardyz (Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Reby Hardy, etc.) regarding the intellectual property and trademarks, according to a report from PWInsider.com the company filed for the trademarks related to the Broken Hardyz back in January, while the trademark listing states that it was in April, meaning that it could be the date that it was filed by the government, however as of now, that is unknown.

The report notes that there is a frustration among some in the company feeling that the coverage of the situation has been far too pro-Hardy, however no matter what, in a court of law, all that is going to matter is the language that was in the contract and nothing else, despite both sides going back and forth over the matter.

Meanwhile, in response to the news that IMPACT Wrestling claim that they filed for the trademarks back in January, Matt Hardy took to his official Twitter account, retweeting a comment made by his wife Rebecca (Reby) Hardy.
