In an update on WWE’s original plans for former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch prior to her pregnancy announcement on Monday’s WWE RAW, a report from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer notes that Lynch was scheduled to face off against Nia Jax for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship at the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

The report adds that Shayna Baszler was originally planned to walk out as the winner of the Women’s WWE Money in the Bank Ladder Match, however upon WWE learning of Becky’s pregnancy, they dropped the storyline between Baszler and Lynch and decided to put the WWE RAW Women’s Championship on Asuka.

Lynch is due to give birth in December, with the door remaining open for her to return if she decides that she wants to return to the ring.
