In an update on the planned RAW Tag Team Championships Match and SmackDown Tag Team Championships Match at the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view, unless things change on tomorrow night’s RAW broadcast, it will not be The Revival (Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson) vs. Aleister Black & Ricochet at WrestleMania, according to a report from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The report notes that right now, the RAW Tag Team Championships Match scheduled for tomorrow’s WWE RAW broadcast is designed to build towards a different title defense and have a way to get a new program going.
Meanwhile, in regards to the SmackDown Tag Team Championships Match, The Uso’s are expected to defend them in a multiple team tag team match and while the teams have not been revealed as of writing, an internal lineup before recent changes listed The Uso’s defending their titles against Aleister Black & Ricochet, The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) and The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston).
The report adds that on the house show loop this weekend, Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev were part of a Triple Threat Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships and given that they have not been announced for the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal as of writing, it is now expected that they could also be added to the match.
