Several members of the WWE roster are said to be affected by post-WrestleMania payouts from the company with the new formula described as “really bad”, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The report notes that earlier this year, the payoffs for the WrestleMania 30 pay-per-view ended up being way better than what was expected by the talents and many believed that the WWE Network launch would hurt WrestleMania bonuses, but that was not the case and that the post-WrestleMania pay could be a sign that talents are now being paid based on pay-per-view revenue and that the talent are not receiving anything extra from the revenue that’s been eliminated due to the WWE Network.
The report also notes that there are reportedly some talents who are being taken care of and others who have deals in place to prevent something like this happening to them, however for others, which is about 3/4 of the roster, that is not the case.
