In an update on the upcoming WWE tryouts in Las Vegas, Nevada during WWE SummerSlam week, the company are looking for younger talents between the ages of 20-27, with the general rule that men should be at least 220lbs and 6ft tall, however exceptions will be in place for exceptionally good talents, according to news first reported by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.
The report notes that there is also a heavy emphasis on the company signing more young African-American and Hispanic talents to create a larger ethnic diversity on their roster and that they are looking to sign more wrestlers from China, India and the Middle East as the WWE feel that they are the future of their big money media deals.
WWE are expected to announce additional details on the Las Vegas Tryouts in the coming weeks.
