In an update on WWE’s future movie releases, the company are currently planning out a schedule of films (excluding any films that they acquire at film festivals) up to 2014. The company are looking at having a movie starring CM Punk, but the flipside is that they don’t want CM Punk to miss any time from his current schedule and even if he was to film, they would need him for television, similar to Randy Orton currently, as well as to sell tickets for WWE live events.

WWE are also considering a fourth film in The Marine series, however this time, a female would take up the role, with Eve Torres expected to follow in John Cena, Ted DiBiase & The Miz’s shoes and play the starring role.

The company are also interested in helping to distribute a film based on the life of legendary wrestler Bruno Sammartino, in an attempt to try and get Sammartino inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, however people close to Sammartino beleive that he still won’t agree to do any kind of business with the WWE, despite their offer.
