In an update on WWE’s plans for NXT going forward, a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the talent in NXT were told at the most recent set of television tapings that the brand would be pushed more heavily now that it is featured on the WWE Network and that the WWE will be really getting behind it and promoting it as a pure wrestling product in the company.

The report goes on to note that NXT stars were told that when the time is right, they will be called up to the main roster just like Alexander Rusev and Emma, however the process will take time and people should be patient, mentioning that the talents will have plenty of exposure being on the WWE Network prior to being called to the main roster and that they should make the most of that situation.
