As mentioned previously on the website, WWE invited over 30 people for a tryout in Florida over the weekend, which according to a report from PWInsider.com were described as grueling and very physical, so much so that one talent who paid to be in the tryouts quit in the middle of the first day and between 10-14 people injuries were suffered over the weekend, with most of the injuries picked up by non-wrestling talent who came to the tryouts trying to show their toughness.

Those that attended the tryouts are Ring of Honor TV Champion Adam Cole, Ring of Honor star “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett, Dragon Gate USA star Samuray del Sol and independent talents Ricky Reyes, Smith James and Luke Hawx. There was talk that Sami Callihan who has been on the company’s radar in recent months was at the tryout, however that isn’t confirmed as of writing.

For those expecting an immediate announcement on potential WWE developmental deals, no deals will be offered until the next 2-4 weeks.
