– In an update on CM Punk turning heel within the past few weeks, many within the company feel that with John Cena as the top face of the WWE, Punk had the option of being the #2 face or taking the role as the top heel in the company. Punk is said to feel that he can fill this position well and be one of the company’s top heels for the forseeable future.

– With Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio teaming up on both RAW and SmackDown in recent weeks, the duo are said to be amongst the favorites to win the WWE Tag Team Championships before splitting, leading to a feud between the two, that would culminate in a match at WrestleMania 29. There are plans for Rey Mysterio to turn heel during this storyline, however that isn’t 100% confirmed as of writing.

– There is said to be frustration backstage in how to handle WWE talent being arrested for driving under the influence. WWE officials feel that with the company heavily promoting the “Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over” campaign, that it can be a message towards talent. Officials also feel that the Tampa area is too big a party scene for WWE talent, hence why considerations have been made in recent times about moving the developmental territory to Stamford, CT.
