WWE revealed today in their 2019 first quarter earnings release that the WWE Network’s paid subscriber numbers now stand at 1.58 million, which is a 2% increase, while the company also revealed that the day after WrestleMania 35, their total Network subscriber numbers, which would include complimentary accounts, as well as those on a free trial, reached over 2 million subscribers.
WWE noted that they project a paid subscriber level of around 1.7 million for the second quarter of 2019, which would be a 5% decline from the previous year, while the company also stated that their primary focus for the WWE Network going forward is the launch of its new platform in partnership with Endeavor Streaming and Massive, as the new platform will provide flexibility to bring new features and experiences to the company’s fans and enable the delivery of content in multiple languages.
