In an interview with WWE’s official website, WWE NXT General Manager William Regal announced that he underwent a second neck surgery on October 21st after a CAT Scan that was done to check on his recovery from surgery last year led to Dr. Joseph Maroon recommending that he underwent surgery once again.

Regal noted that he doesn’t know if or when he will be cleared physically to enter the ring, either as a trainer or as a competitor and said that after 26 years of wrestling, he would be fine with it if he didn’t step inside the ring once again and also noted that while he will miss the main roster touring Europe next month, he will still be appearing on the WWE NXT tour of the United Kingdom this December.
