– The Rock has agreed to work several dates for the WWE post-WrestleMania, including the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view. The WWE Champion’s feud with John Cena is believed internally to be coming to an end at the WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view.
– Several readers sent along word that on the Australian and UK broadcasts of WWE SmackDown, “Hall of Fame” by The Script featuring Will.I.Am was used as the theme song for the WWE Hall of Fame inductees.
– WWE have added recent developmental signing Kendra Smith to the WWE NXT website under the name of Kendall Skye. The description for the WWE Diva reads, “Kendall Skye brings a unique blend of athleticism, intelligence and a hunger to succeed at the competitive table known as NXT. Skye is a former ALL-American Athlete, professional dancer, skilled martial artist and even worked as a Hollywood Stuntwoman. Inside the classroom, the energetic Diva earned the distinction of Valedictorian in addition to a BFA degree from the prestigious New York University. Despite an impressive past, Skye refuses to rest on previous accolades. Competitive by nature, the 5’11 Diva plans to master her in-ring ability while leaving the NXT Universe in awe as she does it.”
– Speaking of WWE developmental, as mentioned on the site last night, El Generico worked the WWE NXT live event under the name of Rami Sebei (which happens to be his real name). Sebei teamed with Kassius Ohno against The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper & Rowan).
– Continuing with WWE NXT, they run Georgia tonight, the first event outside of Orlando, with names such as WWE NXT Champion Big E Langston, Brad Maddox, Mason Ryan and more advertised. It will be interesting to see if Langston does appear as he has been at the side of Dolph Ziggler for all WWE live events recently and could potentially be appearing in Colorado at the WWE RAW live event instead.
– Chris Jericho will be returning to WWE action at this weekend’s WWE live event in Broomfield, Colorado.
– Antonio Cesaro has passed the 200 day mark as the WWE United States Champion and as a result has become the 5th longest reigning WWE United States Champion since it debuted in the WWE. Cesaro still has 143 days to go to break former WWE superstar Montel Vontavious Porter’s record.
