WWE Champion The Rock has refused to rule out the idea of a third match against John Cena at WrestleMania 30 next year.  Rock was asked by a reporter if we could see Rock vs Cena III during the WrestleMania 30 press conference yesterday:

“I can’t tell you that,” Rock said before laughing and flashing his trademark smile. “No, I can’t confirm – I can’t tell you that.”  This was reported by the Times-Picayune newspaper at NOLA.com.

A match between Rock and Cena at WrestleMania 30 would essentially be the fourth consecutive year the pair have feuded going into WrestleMania.  Cena and Rock traded insults prior to WrestleMania 27, where Rock delivered a Rock Bottom to Cena to cost him the WWE Championship.  At WrestleMania 28, Rock defeated Cena in a match marketed as “Once In A Lifetime”.  Rock and Cena II is scheduled for this years WrestleMania after The Rock defeated CM Punk for the WWE Championship and Cena won the Royal Rumble.

Rock vs Cena at WrestleMania 28 is the highest-grossing match of all time, which explains WWE’s desire to do the rematch this year.  The WrestleMania 29 buyrate could determine if WWE go with a third match next year.
