The following results are from a recent WWE NXT special. WWE NXT: ArRIVAL took place on February 27th, 2014 at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida and aired live at 8pm Eastern on the WWE Network.
In Ring Segment
Triple H opened WWE NXT: ArRIVAL in the ring asking fans if they are ready and said that WWE NXT is the next generation and that the next generation has well and truly arrived. The camera then cut to Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton and William Regal on commentary for the opening match of the evening.
Singles Match
Cesaro defeated Sami Zayn. Post-match, Cesaro left and went up the ramp, however he returned to the ring and hugged Sami Zayn to the approval of the crowd.
Singles Match
Mojo Rawley defeated CJ Parker.
Open Challenge Match For The WWE NXT Tag Team Championships
The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) (c) defeated Too Cool (Scotty 2 Hotty & Grandmaster Sexay).
In Ring Segment
Stephanie McMahon came to the ring prior to the WWE NXT Women’s Championship match and said that NXT is making history tonight, because the first live event on the WWE Network is not WrestleMania 30, it’s WWE NXT: ArRIVAL and said that she’s so proud to be here tonight as a McMahon and a woman and said that being a Diva is about being empowered and showing that the women can do anything that a man can do, but better.
WWE NXT Women’s Championship Match
Paige (c) defeated Emma. Post-match, Paige and Emma shook hands and hugged it out.
Singles Match
Xavier Woods vs. Tyler Breeze was declared a no contest due to interference from Alexander Rusev who attacked both men before the match even got underway.
In Ring Segment
Shawn Michaels came out to the ring with the WWE NXT Championship and said that he is honored to be part of this historic night and said that he has some insight on ladder matches and stated that what the fans are about to see is 2 very talented young men step into the ring, with one having the chance to become the WWE NXT Champion.
Ladder Match For The WWE NXT Championship
Adrian Neville defeated Bo Dallas to become the new WWE NXT Champion. Post-match, Neville sat on top of the ladder with the belt in his hand celebrating as the show came to an end.
