WWE are expected to make changes to the commentary teams on the WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown brands ahead of WWE RAW’s move to Netflix next month, according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The report notes that the initial plans were for Michael Cole and Pat McAfee to call WWE RAW, with Corey Graves and Joe Tessitore to call WWE SmackDown, however an announcement on the SmackDown team is said to be forthcoming, indicating that it may not be Graves and Tessitore as a duo, while Wade Barrett’s status moving forward was also not addressed in the report.
Additionally, the report adds that there is no word as to whether the changes will also take place for the WWE NXT commentary team, however WWE RAW’s team is believed to be set in stone.
