– WWE Hall of Famer Abdullah The Butcher is currently confined to a wheelchair as he requires a new hip. Abby was in attendance at a recent independent event in Montreal and surprised everyone, as no one had heard of the news.

– In an update on the WWE Main Event show debuting this Wednesday on the ION Network, many people expect it to end up similar to WWE Superstars, however ION are paying the WWE a hefty chunk in the hope of drawing good ratings. The feeling amongst many within the company is that this new show will help storylines expand into midweek and help to create new feuds in the process. – WWE Champion CM Punk took to his Twitter account last night to comment on Samoa Joe becoming the TNA TV Champion and creating history by becoming the third Grand Slam Champion in the company’s history. “Don’t call it a come back, he’s been here for years @SamoaJoe”

– Former WWE United States Champion Zack Ryder will be appearing at the Long Island Auto Show at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York on Friday, October 12th at 7pm. Admission to the event is free. Meanwhile, WWE stars David Otunga & Hornswoggle will be appearing at the Six Flags Great America show in Gurnee, Illinois on Saturday, October 13th at 3pm.

– Former Major League Baseball star Jose Canseco is apparently looking for a role in the professional wrestling business. After being turned down about working for TNA Wrestling, there is word that Canseco contacted the WWE about being a Social Media Ambassador for an upcoming episode of WWE RAW.

– The SongPop app on Facebook, iPhone and Android phones has added a WWE Themes category to its playlists. I use the app and got to check out the themes last night, some of which are tricky at first to guess.

– Kayfabe Commentaries released the trailer for their upcoming YouShoot: Tammy Sytch DVD, which you can see below. The WWE Hall of Famer makes a revelation, which we won’t spoil.
