WWE Games’ Community Manager Aubrey Sitterson noted on the site’s official forum yesterday that there was significant improvements made to online for this year’s WWE ’13 video game.

The game will see improved Community Creations server performance and general latency improvements for better gameplay performance and responsiveness. WWE ’13 will also have a “fair fight” option and leaderboard, which basically means that you can play against other players online using only the default WWE superstars, with no modifications to attributes or movesets and is an option that you can turn on when searching for matches.

The game has also added the option to add AI participants into online matches, allowing players and friends to play against the computer in 4-man or 6-man matches online, as well as the ability to upload and download created content that contains DLC (downloadable content), as long as that person has purchased WWE Fan Axxess.

Created arenas can now be used in online matches and match creator can now be used to create online match types, while there is improved content sharing and fewer restrictions on how people can edit and manage content that they’ve downloaded from Community Creations, giving those the option to fully edit content offline once downloaded from Community Creations. Fans playing the game will no longer need to upload created content on to the Community Creations server before playing online matches with created content.
