WWE Hall of Famer and six-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion Tatsumi Fujinami was crowned the new HEAT-UP Universal Champion and PWL World Champion during Pro Wrestling HEAT-UP’s event today at the Todoroki Arena in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan, defeating TAMURA in the main event of the show.
67-year-old Fujinami’s victory brings an end to TAMURA’s 68-day reign as the Champion. Fujinami and TAMURA are no strangers to each other, having previously held the HEAT-UP Universal Tag Team Championships from June 28th, 2018 until May 19th, 2019.
