WWE are said to have shown interest in recent weeks in signing Ring of Honor, Dragon Gate USA and EVOLVE Wrestling talent El Generico to a deal with the company, this according to a report from PWInsider.com.

If a contract offer is made to Generico and he accepts, his last match on the independent scene could come against Kevin Steen for the ROH World Championship in a Ladder War at the ROH Final Battle 2012 pay-per-view on December 16th.
